Caring for your Mala Beads

Mala Beads are sacred pieces of Jewelry and so should be treated with much love and respect. All my Mala Beads are Handmade and while being made are filled with mantra, love, light and reiki energy. 

Your Mala Beads are threaded on nylon mala cord, and with love and care should last a long time. If your Mala Beads break it may be that you have fulfilled the intention set for the mala and so it is time to move on to another mala with a new intention. 

** Please do not wear your Mala in water, especially sea water as the salt and water will corrode and damage the beads and cord.
** Please do not wear in bed, but use the night time to allow your mala beads to recharge, maybe placing them on a sacred altar or with a carnelian crystal to help cleanse the beads.
** As you work with your mala you will be infusing it with all the beautiful energy and vibrations of your mediation and mantra. It is a good idea to regularly cleanse your mala, as the gemstone beads will absorb any energy that you are releasing and of energies around you. 
** If you wear your Mala Beads on your wrist over time it will stretch. 
** Skin lotion and oils can degrade natural gemstones so please be aware of this and avoid non natural products.
