As each bead is threaded and knotted I chant a beautiful mantra.
For Prayer and Meditation they bring, calmness and peace for mind, body and soul.
When created in accordance with Kundalini Yoga Tantric Numerology and my intuition they can help support you on your life path and purpose xx
When I received my Spiritual name Teja Kaur I decided to create a Gemstone Mala using my numerology of my name to help support me in grounding my life purpose and further help me on my path. The Gemstones used and their unique vibrations and properties deepen the level to which I can access, promoting healing on all levels of my being. My students then asked me to create them a personal Mala also and so my business developed.
The Mantras and the music the Kundalni Yoga family play support me in ways I cannot describe, but that need to be experienced. They nourish my soul and truly enrich my life. Supporting my journey of self discovery.
I love choosing the mantra appropriate to each Mala and sitting in my Meditative space creating and chanting.
I love chanting, the mantras are so beautiful, they nourish my soul and enrich my life. So to spend 2 hours sitting in meditation, chanting, blessing each gemstone bead and each knot while making the mala is a true joy.
Crystals, along with Reiki have been a constant support and part of my spiritual journey. There are so many the possibilities are endless :-)
I go to a beautiful local supplier Kernow Craft to hand pick my gemstone beads, its important for me to know that the beads are carefully and ethically sourced by the business owner that ensures the integrity, high vibration, quality and authenticity of every bead I use.
Mala Make up-
108 beads -
1= God , higher truth
0= Emptiness, completeness in spiritual practice
8= Infinity
108 is the number of the wholeness of existence. This number also connects the Sun, Moon, and Earth: The average distance of the Sun and the Moon to Earth is 108 times their respective diameters.
In astrology = 12 house and 9 planets =108
108 Goddess names
According to yogic tradition, there are 108 pithas, or sacred sites, throughout India. And there are also 108 Upanishads and 108 marma points, or sacred places of the body.
108 energy lines converge to form the Heart chakra, one of them the Sushumna leads to the crown chakra, the path of realisation.
If someone is able to reach a state of calmness during meditation whereby they can have just 108 breaths in a day, it is said that enlightenment will come
The Thread represents the bond that we have to the Universe. It holds the beads together, it is the thread of the Universe. The beads come from the Universe and so do we. The thread symbolises that everything is interconnected and is without separateness.
The knots placed between the beads ensure that the beads do not touch each other and therefore they don't distract us during meditation with a sound.
The knot also symbolise our connection to the divine Universe and helps us to keep our distractions separate from ourselves in the same way that the beads do not touch each other.
The Guru bead is the 109th bead. This bead symbolises our Teacher, the Divine or God.
